Ivoclar Vivadent expands its alloy range with two new alloys: Callisto Implant 33 and Colado NC.
The alloy Callisto Implant 33 enables dental technicians to fabricate high-strength, cost-efficient frameworks. Colado NC is an economically attractive alloy
which offers easy and convenient processing.
For implant superstructures
Callisto Implant 33 is a palladium-containing ceramic alloy which is particularly suitable for implant superstructures, as a result of its composition and
physical properties. Callisto Implant 33 is a cost-efficient, low-density reduced-gold alloy. The alloy can be conveniently ground and polished in spite of its
high strength values. This alloy is an economical alternative to high-gold alloys.
For frameworks with good stability
Colado NC is a nickel-chromium ceramic alloy. Its mechanical and physical properties have been adjusted to the requirements of conventional metal-ceramics and
composite materials. The alloy is characterized by its particularly light oxide. This facilitates the creation of an appropriate shade effect in restorations.
Given Colado NC’s high strength values, dental technicians can fabricate delicate frameworks with a suitable stability. Furthermore, Colado NC can also be used
for the fabrication of long-span restorations.
The alloys Callisto Implant 33 and Colado NC will be available in April 2011.
